Call for Photography Submissions for Nerve.com
Nerve.com is seeking submissions of photography by independent photographers for publication.
We are currently seeking new talent to showcase in our Featured Weekly Galleries and photographers to shoot for our Nerve Date section.
We prefer solid bodies of work that can be showcased and presented as such. Check out www.nerve.com for examples and read our mission statement. Submissions of male nudes, work in color and honest depictions of hot coupling encouraged. Headless images of women's bodies discouraged.
Here is what we do not publish: porn, "erotica," play-by-play sexploits and purple fiction (read: overwrought romances in the airport-novel genre).
Nerve aims to be frank about sex, but not necessarily explicit. Nerve exists because sex is beautiful and absurd, remarkably fun and reliably trauma-inducing. In short, it is a subject in need of a fearless, intelligent forum for both genders. We believe that women (men too, but especially women) have waited long enough for a smart, honest magazine on sex, with cliché-shattering prose and fiction as well as striking photographs of naked people that capture more than their flesh.
